When our little girl- Holly Blossom was diagnosed with cancer aged just 3 years old on the 31st March 2017, time stood still and the world fell from beneath our feet. It took everything we had in us as parents to wipe away the tears whilst we were in front of Holly and her baby brother Joshua Arlo and put one foot in front of the other, getting through each day hour by hour to begin with. It was a physical heartache that you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemy.

With the help of the organisations mentioned below (and also many other charities) we managed to start smiling again - genuine smiles... and we realised that although life had sent us a ferocious storm and it was going to last a while, to get through it we were going to have to learn to dance in the rain and still cherish precious family times - making our own moments of sunshine and 'shining through the storm'.

On 16th November 2017 Holly rang her end of treatment bell at Birmingham children's Hospital. It was the most amazing and emotional day and signified us being able to move forward to the next chapter of our lives.

As we do begin to move forward we feel it's so important that we try to 'give back' to at least a handful of the charities that lie so close to our hearts. Going forward we will try our best to raise awareness of the charities and also as much money as we can to be divided equally between the six chosen charities.

Any funds given will be going to some amazing organisations that really did bring a little ray of sunshine during our most stormy days.

The four Charities we have decided to support are:

• Birmingham Childrens Hospital- oncology ward
• Supershoes
• Molly Ollys wishes
• Grace Kelly ladybird trust.
